My Story
The Philippines is the home of my people. There, the sun shines with such intensity it burns through your skin. There, the people are full of talent and vigor.
Growing up in the Philippines shaped me as a person and as a designer. I’ve met many great artists who inspire me to this day. All their lessons I still carry with me and apply to all my projects. Out of all the lessons I hold dear, these are the ones that stand out the most:
I have a voice, and visual design is an outlet to let my voice be heard.
When people can’t hear you, scream.
Show don’t tell.
Even though it’s been years since I’ve visited the Philippines, it still holds a special place in my heart. As I continue my design journey, I wish to meet more people and learn something new from each and every one of them.
